These chord forms can be moved up and down the neck to create all the other chords. For the purposes of these examples, all chords are placed at the 5th fret (6th string 'A' or 5th string 'D').
To play other chords of the same flavor, place the root note (shown on the 6th or 5th string) at the desired fret (except in some flat 9 chords, in which the shown "root" note is actually the flatted 9). The root is omitted in these chords, and the "root" note shown in the chord example is placed 1/2 step *above* the actual root note).
